PandemoniumI stood on the steps of the high school waiting to see someone I knew. It was the first day of school, everyone had already found their little groups, but I stood aside like an outcast. I was always the outcast. A summer breeze gently blew across my ankles, flaring up my white satin skirt and turning my hair into a twisted mess of chocolate fibers. I took one last look at the crowd before I started off. The last bell rang. The other students rushed off to their classes, but I took my time and enjoyed the empty halls. I finally found my classroom and slipped into one of the seats in the back.Pandemonium
